NSSC Head Coach/Trainer is George Nemeh. NSSC has become quite a phenomenon. Our leadership, coaching and training staff combined with the trust and support of our player's parents and families have all contributed to our success. Our kids are our stars and the teams that house them shine. There is no greater sight than to see the measured success of every child through our summer skills, season long training and league play.

The goal of our competitive program (for youth and young adults in age groups U-8 to U-18) is to create the best possible environment to play, enjoy, and advance in the sport of soccer. Our competitive teams which include Premier Level, Competitive Flight 1 and 2, will play and compete within either Arizona Youth Soccer Association (AYSA) or the Valley Youth Soccer League (VYSL.) Competitive Level Teams also participate in tournament play throughout the season.

The season for U8 to U14 runs 14 games from October to the end of February, with a break for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The season for U15 to U19 starts in mid September and runs until the start of high school, usually the beginning of November. Season length may vary due to scheduled tournaments as well as additional in house games.

All competitive teams will start practicing as soon as they are formed which is no later than the week proceeding labor day weekend. Several of our teams do practice year round. All players on competitive teams are required to attend one Summer Skills Academy Session during summer break.

All NSSC Competitive Teams are strongly encouraged to participate in as many tournaments as possible, as well as in the State Cup. NSSC  Competitive Teams are required to play in at least 3-4 tournaments per season.. Competitive teams are encouraged to travel to out-of-state tournaments. You should expect your team to play up to 40 games a year.

Detailed information with exact practice, game dates and tournament schedules will be distributed to each player before the beginning of the season by their coaches. Skills training is mandatory and is conducted by a professional trainer.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TRAINING FOCUSES ON:
Player Development, Fitness, Techniques, Tactics and Skills, Principles of Play, Commitment and Attitude!
SKILLS TRAINING IS REQUIRED FOR ALL COMPETITIVE PLAYERS FROM AUGUST UNTIL THE END OF THEIR TEAM'S SEASON.

The Season Club Dues for "Traditional" Competitive House Teams with an Experienced Coach and Club Provided Professional Skills Trainer are for the entire season.
Club Dues include State Licensed Referees, Professional Lining Fees, State Association Registration, Local Youth League and Club Registration Fees as well as Administrative and Operating expenses. City of Scottsdale Field and Lighting fees are built in but if the City should increase fees with or without notice this fee difference shall be due at time of increase.

We depend on parental involvement! Volunteering for different duties and positions within their teams as well as within the Club is encouraged.

Sponsorship/donation will be greatly appreciated! Due to past donations, we have not had to turn a child away for financial reasons but we need your help to continue this policy.

We anticipate a fun and exciting season for all those participating. This year we want the Valley to know that we are the POWERHOUSE! For questions and information, we can be reached by phone at (480) 443-4964, by fax at (480) 502-2208, or by e-mail at nsscsoccer@aol.com.
